What is the process to work with you?

First I like to start with a free phone consultation so I can ask you a few questions and get a better understanding of what you are looking for. After our call, I will put together some recommended resorts along with basic pricing for you to review. As you begin to narrow your choices, I will answer all your questions, and send pertinent information and more detailed quotes as needed in order to help you make your final decision. Once you decide on a vacation package, I will send you a final itinerary to review and a link to make your initial deposit. Once your deposit has been processed, your reservations are confirmed, and I will send you an invoice for your records. I will then contact you when it’s time to make your final payment. About 45 days prior to your departure date, I will email your final travel documents and I’ll also send a hard copy in the mail. I’ll touch base with you a few days prior to your departure to see if you have any last minute questions. Throughout the entire process, I will proactively keep an eye on your reservation until you are back home from your trip.

Why can’t I find any pricing on your website?

I work with a select group of tour operators and for any given vacation request, I always check the pricing with several different suppliers to see who is offering the best deal at any particular point in time. Since I work with several suppliers and prices are constantly fluctuating, price quotes are best done on a real time basis.


Can I get a better price if I go directly to the hotel myself?

I book all of my client’s vacations as a package which includes both the flights and hotels bundled together. Packaged vacations typically cost less than booking the hotel and airfare separately.


Can we meet you in person?

Yes! If you are local to the Virginia Beach area, I would love to meet with you in person (typically at a local coffee shop). For clients outside the local area, I can easily help you plan your dream vacation over the phone and email.


Should I buy travel insurance?

Travel insurance is never required, but it is highly recommended. One of the most important reasons to consider travel insurance is because many health insurance companies do not provide coverage when you travel out of the country. If you need medical care while traveling and are not covered, it could be financially devastating. Also, a good travel insurance plan helps provide peace of mind in knowing you are covered for unexpected events that may occur before and during your vacation and can reimburse you for pre-paid, non-refundable portions of your trip if you need to cancel for any covered reasons. Lastly, most travel insurance plans will include 24/7 assistance service, so you have someone to act on your behalf should any problems arise during your travels. It is recommend that you carefully read the description of coverage to decide if it’s right for you.
